David duChemin on His Underwater Photography (Podcast 535)

by | Aug 8, 2016 | Art Talk, Interview, Podcast | 1 comment

I recently had the pleasure of sitting down for a chat with my friend, photographer David duChemin, briefly about the new edition of his best selling book Within The Frame, and then about his beautiful recent underwater photography.

As this conversation wasn’t scripted, there is no manuscript for today’s episode, so please listen with the above audio player, and follow along with the photos below.

If you’d like to pick up a copy of David’s new edition of Within the Frame, you can find it on Amazon here.

Published My Canon EOS 5Ds R Settings

Although totally unrelated to this post, I wanted to quickly mention that last week I published my Canon EOS 5Ds R settings on the blog, for those of you that are interested. I have been asked to share my settings a number of times, to help get people up and running quickly with the camera, so I thought I’d share what I consider to be my most important customizations.

You can check out the settings here: https://mbp.ac/5dsrsettings

Very nice. Black and white really works well here. Beautiful tonality.
I don’t think the selfie is going to win any awards though. 🙂
    Those sharks look pretty close…too close…. 🙂
